I believe in pioneering projects, in possibilities, in beauty, and in the evolution that thinking through projects and designing new landscapes can offer to people, communities, and organizations.

A project is hope, it is a form of improvement therapy. What we imagine and build, both individually and collectively, is a design in constant transformation. I support individuals, companies, and institutions in their moments of change, facilitating innovations that touch goals, ways of working, and identity. I am a designer of organizational, creative, and collaborative systems, an author, and a trainer.

My professional biography has been shaped by places and transformations. My education in complexity emerged through direct experience. I was in Moscow when the Berlin Wall fell, and in South Africa during the days that marked the end of apartheid. I have observed processes of change in Bosnia, North Korea, Iceland, New Caledonia, China, and Tanzania, and I have contributed through design and consulting to transforming parts of the Italian industrial world, from objects to wellbeing, from food to services.

I coordinate research and development teams focused on innovation in organizations, processes, identity, and products. I teach in Italian and international universities and speak at conferences dedicated to the meaning of social and economic change. I have designed systems and products that have received market recognition and international awards, including a Design Plus award in 2007, a Wallpaper Design Award for the best domestic design product in the world in 2009, and three Compasso d’Oro awards and honorable mentions, both Italian and international, in 2008 and 2015. This interdisciplinary journey has shaped the way I inhabit the spaces between people and things, between languages and technologies, between stories and their possible futures.

At Wyde, I have facilitated innovation, design, and communication playgrounds, and co designed frontier programs focused on science, identity, and markets.

I am drawn to temporary thoughts. I believe in the power of openness and in the possibility of changing things together. I care, I facilitate, I nurture, and I am nourished by interactions and collaborations.
