When I perform, I can forget the passage of time.
As an actor and teacher, I guide people out of their comfort zone, into a form of play that is enjoyable but also revealing. Those who choose to engage discover parts of themselves and of others. Through theatre or storytelling, I open windows onto other worlds, creating new spaces where people can see themselves and meet one another.
My story did not begin with a childhood dream of becoming an actor. At the age of six, when someone knocked on the door to invite me to take part in Zecchino d’Oro, I hid under the kitchen table. All I wanted was to become an NBA star and play for the Los Angeles Lakers. Despite many imagined training sessions, I have not achieved that yet. In the meantime, I have cultivated everything else. I graduated in Modern Literature in Bologna, attended the National Academy of Dramatic Art Silvio d’Amico, and for more than twenty years I have worked as a professional actor across theatre stages, film sets, and collaborations with photographers. I write extensively, devour books, and for several years I have also worked as an editor and translator for the publishing house Giunti. This path, made of stories, images, and moving bodies, has shaped the way I work with people, with irony, depth, and the ability to stay present with the emotions that emerge when one truly steps onto the stage.
At Wyde, I bring my positive kind of madness, the dust of theatre, and the empathy and tenderness needed in moments when people step forward, take a risk, and expose something of themselves.
My personal way of caring for others
I enjoy observing the people I work with, their rituals, the gestures they repeat, and the words they choose most often.
