Code of Ethics

Introductory Note

The Code of Ethics, officially approved by the Board of Directors in 2023, represents the natural evolution of our company. It contains the principles that reflect our values and outline the ethical and social responsibility of all the people who contribute to Wyde’s growth.
For some time, we have been pursuing a path of sustainability in the social, economic, and environmental spheres, embracing some of the goals of the UN 2030 Agenda, committing ourselves to putting them into practice and spreading them. Since January 2023, we have become a Benefit Corporation.

Wyde’s Values

The Code of Ethics is another way of saying that our values are not just words on paper, but a concrete commitment that takes shape every day in our professional lives.

Above all, there are our values, our cultural code, our mindset.

We turn attention into action

Every element helps us connect people with their emotions, ideas, goals, and with each other. We believe that connecting as human beings—among ourselves and with the values and ideas we share—can help both people and companies thrive. We leave nothing and no one behind.

We stay open to the unexpected

We recognize everyone’s contribution as a valuable piece of a good idea that can grow. More often than not, it will be something capable of transforming us. We cultivate communities of belonging where differences are not only accepted but celebrated, and where people connect, learn, and grow.

We dare, making room for multiple tensions

We dare to look further, to take risks, to say something uncomfortable, to step beyond what has already been done. To create meaningful and positive change, we cannot stand still. We believe in fertile paradoxes. In every system, we seek the point of impact.

We give ideas soul through play

Through play, people find meaning in their journey. They discover their ability to imagine the future, to feel freedom on their skin, and to see reality without filters. In play, we encounter new parts of ourselves and others in new contexts. Behind every idea are questions that have a soul and contain the potential for transformation.

Wyde’s Goals and Operating Principles

We aim to achieve many ambitious goals that we know will make the world we want to live in a better place.

Seeing our clients satisfied, anticipating their needs even before they themselves realize them.

Contributing to spreading a culture of social, environmental, and economic responsibility: we care about people, the environment, and animals.

Linking our growth to the satisfaction of the people who work with us and for us.

Collaborating with institutions to have a significant impact on social well-being.

Promoting and supporting research, as well as technological and digital innovation.

Always striving for quality in what we do, while ensuring flexibility and reliability.

Valuing our employees, collaborators, and community, engaging them, and uniting around our values.

Communicating with transparency, always keeping our audience in mind and in our hearts.

Reducing our environmental impact through concrete actions and the promotion of a sustainable mindset.

Always paying greater attention to the health and safety of those who work with us and with our clients.

Investing in the continuous training of our employees.

Always being loyal, even when budgets and expectations are at stake, especially when budgets and expectations are at stake.

The People of Wyde

Could we call them stakeholders? Why not, each of them has an interest in our project, in our business goals, and in the way we have chosen to pursue them.

This code is dedicated to all the people who work with Wyde, directly or indirectly, and at different levels of responsibility. They are the ones who bring Wyde to life, and this Code of Ethics is for us and for them: a call to commit to respecting and spreading Wyde’s values through the adoption of ethical behaviors.

Behavioral Rules

Relations with Employees and Collaborators
We value differences and protect them because they are a precious asset to our identity. It may seem contradictory, yet what represents us the most are all the diverse voices that can express themselves within Wyde.
Within the workplace, every person can express their professional inclinations. Training is guided by an annual plan aimed at growth and the acquisition of new skills. We ensure dignified work conditions in compliance with legal requirements and support our employees in achieving work-life balance through welfare policies. We pay particular attention to protecting the health and safety of workers in the workplace. We dedicate time and resources to prevention and to spreading a culture of individual and group safety.
We ask our employees to use equipment, company resources, and tools correctly, collaborating to always ensure the efficiency and safety of the means provided.

Relations with clients
Over the years, we have always committed, and continue to commit, to being professional with our clients. We build relationships based on clear and complete communication, delivering projects that fully satisfy our stakeholders. Technically speaking, our services comply with ISO 9001:2015 standards, principles that ensure the quality of the work performed. We also do our best on privacy. We protect the privacy and information we receive in accordance with agreements and contracts. Personal data collected is processed and shared only for reasons related to business activities. Participants in projects are obliged to maintain confidentiality regarding this information.

Relations with the Community, Territory, and Institutions
We want to grow healthy and strong. We know we can only achieve this in harmony with the territory and with the institutions with which we build relationships of collaboration and transparency. We support social and cultural initiatives to promote culture, respect for the environment, and care for people.

Behavioral Principles for Suppliers, Consultants, and Collaborators
Suppliers, consultants, and collaborators, all our partners, help us achieve our goals.
Their adherence to the principles contained in the Code of Ethics is an integral part of the contract. We require them to comply with regulations, national laws, and international conventions concerning working conditions, social rights, child labor, environmental protection, and health and safety.
We request suppliers to:

  • Not employ child or underage labor
  • Not use forced or compulsory labor
  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations, ensure payment of minimum wage and overtime, and avoid any illegal overtime practices
  • Respect the dignity of workers and exclude unusual disciplinary practices
  • Guarantee freedom of association and avoid any form of discrimination
  • Ensure a healthy work environment
  • Reject all forms of corruption
  • Compete fairly
  • Communicate the contents of this Code to their employees, collaborators, and any subcontractors, and ensure it is implemented

Dissemination of the Principles Contained in the Code
The rules contained in the Code of Ethics complement the behavior that our employees are required to observe under current civil and criminal laws and the obligations set out in collective bargaining agreements. Violation of the rules of the Code may constitute a breach of contractual obligations under articles 2104 et seq. of the Civil Code.
Violating the Code may result in disciplinary actions and claims for damages in accordance with applicable laws and our disciplinary system.
Before reaching this point, however, any violation constitutes a breach of the trust and commitment to our principles and values, the same principles and values we establish daily with clients, collaborators, suppliers, and the wider community.
We like to think of this Code as a tool for sharing and actively promoting the best practices adopted by our company, being fully aware of and responsible for the importance of our role.

Effective Date
The Code of Ethics has been in force since December 5, 2022, and may be updated. For the purpose of optimizing the content of the Code, any amendments or additions must be approved by the Board of Directors.
The updated version will be sent to the recipients, replacing and nullifying the current version. We will ask for their acknowledgment and acceptance to ensure that everything is carried out with maximum transparency and shared understanding.
